Terrorism, Terrorist, Newsweek, Michael Isikoff, and John Barry

Newsweek, Michael Isikoff, and John Barry falsely reported a toilet flushing of a Koran at Gitmo.

The real prime culprit here is yellow journalism. Is that the real prime culprit? No.

The real prime culprit is terrorist and terrorism. Terrorist do not need nor require a false report to conduct terrorism. At the same time, the problem does not exist with Newsweek, Michael Isikoff, and John Barry.

The false report could have happened at Gitmo. No one can say with 100 percent certainty unless being another opportunistic plaintiff, conducting mindless demagoguery, and knowing about Abu Ghraib that the false report could not have happened at Gitmo.

Moving away from being another opportunistic plaintiff, conducting mindless demagoguery, and knowing about Abu Ghraib. The United States is a place where crucifixes immersed in urine and Madonna replicas composed of feces are occasions for government funding, not terrorism and violent uprisings. If someone was moved to kill on the account of crucifixes being immersed in urine and Madonna replicas being composed of feces, the United States government would target the killer, not the exhibiting museum or not the artists or surely not Newsweek. The United States is also a place where the government seeks accommodations with Saudi Arabia, China, and Egypt in which are all places where the practice of Christianity results in imprisonment or death, the Middle East in which Jewish people have been driven out of every country in the Middle East and every country in the Middle East desires the destruction of Israel, the international community in which the majority view the destruction of Israel as a legitimate national security and strategic policy, and in which being a Christian or an animist or the wrong kind of Muslim in Sudan is grounds for genocide in which the United Nations seems to regard a spectator situation.

Terrorist and terrorism have been capitalizing on the respectful deference of others.

Tactically terrorist desecrate the Koran by rigging it with explosives, by using it to convey terrorist messages, and toilet flushing parts of the Koran for the value of flooding the bathrooms at Gitmo. Terrorist have used mosques as sanctuaries, as weapons depots, and as sniper positions. Even so, part of al-Qeada training for its operatives is to allege illegal abuse during capture and imprisonment no matter what the truth of the matter is.

United States procedures for handling the Koran are clear and respectful at Gitmo. If a non-Muslim guard is an intermediary of a Koran between a Muslim chaplain and a prisoner in either direction, the Koran is handled in a towel. At the same time, to desecrate the Koran would be counter productive in the integration process by taking the mental struggle to the inner strength and inner rational of the terrorist.

The real prime culprit is not insensitivity and is not yellow journalism, those things are condemnable and manageable through the civilian and military rule of law in the United States.

The real prime culprit is a region and societies that cannot or will not condemn and rein in an ideology that justifies terrorism and violence.
