U.N. Transformation and Challenges

U.N. perception and U.N. reality must be addressed. U.N. has not addressed the challenges of the member nations and the security environment of the member nations with coherent actions. The U.N. must be an effective multilateral body for addressing threats to international security by 1) not limiting the ability of democratic nations to ensure security, 2) funding for the U.N. should be more equitably distributed among U.N. member states, 3) the U.N. must not become a growing burden on democratic nations and must provide value for funds, 4) the U.N. bureaucracy should be streamlined and made more effective, 5) the U.N. should become more effective force on the world stage in advancing human rights.

The U.N. Commission on Human Rights has made a mockery of human rights by the commitment and accomplishments by democratic member nations. The U.N. should not be used as a vehicle and mechanism by non governmental organizations and terrorist for advancing radical social agendas that do not respect human rights and the rule of law.
